So, of course, I couldn’t resist putting together something special for our members.

New Videos Every Month!

You’ll never have to worry about videos again, because we’re adding NEW videos every month. 

However, after July, our stock videos will only be available as a perk for quarterly and annual members

So, if you’re currently a monthly member and you’d like to have access to stock videos each month, I highly recommend upgrading or joining at the quarterly or annual level when signing up for the first time as a member.

Why Now? 

I’m sure you’ve seen all the buzz about Instagram prioritizing video.

You’re probably thinking, “What does this mean for my business?” or I’m not comfortable being on video.” 

I understand your concerns. 

As a brand photographer who serves female creatives and entrepreneurs, with brand photography, my immediate reaction was “Oh my gosh, what do I need to do now?”

I also started thinking, “Do I need to offer this as a service?” 

Just like many of you, I had to take a deep breath and tell myself, “It’s going to be Ok.” 

The hard truth is, Instagram has been pushing video for quite some and while I love trends, I’m not always the first to jump on the bandwagon.

When reels came out, I had the biggest eye-roll after seeing so many videos with pointing and dancing.

I thought “I don’t want to do this – I’m not even a good dancer.” 

After resisting for quite awhile, I’m finally embracing video and including more of it into my business.

Now that I’ve taken the plunge, I’m noticing a big difference in my business. 

I’m now more confident about talking about products and services on-camera. Video content makes me think more creatively. It’s a win-win for me! 

Stuck on How to Start Using Video in Your Content? 

You don’t have to do all the dancing, pointing, or face-to-face talking. 

As you get comfortable, you can gradually start showing your face or speaking on camera. Until then, try something like filming yourself in your work element or filming your hands for a tutorial. Animations and scrolling videos are also great. 

Our CJS Instagram page has a ton of scrolling videos! They get a lot of engagement as well. 

Be sure to also keep the process smart and simple. A solid plan is a life-saver for busy entrepreneurs, so try to batch your videos. 

I usually take a day to film 3-4 videos that I spread out over the next couple of weeks. 

You Don’t Have to Go Viral 

As a business, you don’t necessarily need to go viral – although that does help with growth and getting your brand in front of more eyes. 

However, at the end of the day, your goal is to invite your audience into your brand story and lead them on a buyer’s journey, to sell your products and services. 

Just start simple. 

For example, on my brand photography account, I share videos of myself writing, looking at my camera, and taking photos. I either add a voiceover, text, music to these. 

I love doing videos like this because they feel authentic for me. 

Bring Your Brand Story to Life  

The best thing about ColorJoy’s stock videos is that there are a variety of everyday videos. 

You’ll find videos of women working, planning, pouring coffee, or indulging in self-care. You can easily customize these videos to reflect your brand story.
